Connexions is an independent information, advice, guidance and support service for all young people aged 13 to 19. A Connexions Personal Adviser can help you find out what different jobs and careers there are and what it is like to do them, as well as finding out about apprenticeship opportunities. They can also help you look at different learning styles, information about qualifications and choices/options available to you at 14, 16 and 18.
Starting Point is a free information, advice and guidance service for the people of St Helens on jobs, education and training. They provide one-to-one information and guidance (including through the National Careers Service); In-house and outreach team of Guidance Advisers can provide advice with applying for jobs, writing a CV and mastering interview techniques. There is also a fully stocked careers library with a wealth of information to hand.
