Resilience Teams Service

About

The Resilience Teams Service, commissioned with Barnardo’s, has been live from April 2021. This provision provides the wrap around emotional health and wellbeing support for clusters of secondary schools and Primary Care Networks, with a nominated point of contact, drop-in sessions delivered for children and young people along with sessions for parents/carers; standardised training and education for professionals using recognised programmes; and whole school resilience building working closely with school nursing, CAMHS and PATHS. The aim is to strengthen prevention work, provide evidence based interventions, drop in sessions for children, young people, families and staff, signposting to local provision and ensuring timely access to specialist services where required.

This comprises of two Emotional Wellbeing and Resilience Teams: Central and Circumference, based out of one of the secondary schools and a health centre. The teams are comprised of 1 senior practitioner, 4 practitioners and admin support with an overarching management structure.
