Households into Work- Liverpool City Region Combined Authority

About

Households into Work is aimed at individuals who may have multiple or significant barriers to moving into work, or even to considering work.

The programme provides support to households where at least 2 people are unemployed and aged 16 or over. This can include a relative, neighbour, friend or someone who is relied upon or depended on for support. Both individuals must reside in the Liverpool City Region.

The individuals will then be assigned an Employment Advocate, who will be able to offer more intensive support for up to 12 months. This support will take a holistic approach and meet the specific needs of the individual.

Services

The overall aim is to support individuals in tackling barriers preventing them from making progress towards Education, Training and Employment. At the end of the 12 months it is hoped the individual will have either gained employment, started to look for employment or engaged in Higher Education / training or voluntary work so as to improve their chances of gaining sustainable employment in the future.
