Emergency Duty Team
About
The Emergency Duty Team is a social work service that assesses the needs of vulnerable individuals, adults, children and their families. Where necessary, they can offer temporary services to support those who may be at immediate and serious risk.
How to Access
The Emergency Duty Team operates outside normal office hours (Monday to Thursday 5pm to 9am, Friday 4.30pm to 9am, and weekends & bank holidays 9am to 9am) and is staffed by an operator who will take down the appropriate details and pass it on to a Social Worker who will decide on the appropriate course of action and ring you back.
There is also an out of hours service for mental health service users/carers called the Crisis Resolution Team, contactable on 01744 621 688.
