Connexions is an independent information, advice, guidance and support service for all young people aged 13 to 19. Connexions also support parents/Carers of children who are not in education, employment or training.
A Connexions Personal Adviser can give you help and advice around:
- Jobs and careers: find out about choosing a career, apprenticeships, voluntary work, work-based learning and different pathways for you to look at
- Learning: qualifications and choices available to you when you turn 14, 16 and 18
- Living: information and your legal rights about health, money, housing, relationships, staying safe, sport, leisure, travel and transport
How to Access
In May 2012 Connexions relocated from the Beacon building to Starting Point on Hardshaw Street – their new opening hours are Monday to Friday 11am to 3pm. Connexions also run outreach sessions across St Helens – click here for further information.
