St Helens & District Group of Diabetes UK (DUK)

About

The St Helens & District Group of Diabetes UK has been running for over 35 years.  We are proud to say that during that time we have been able to help many people who have diabetes.

We have 8 meetings a year, which are now held in the St Helens United Reformed Church,King St, WA10 2JZ – 7.30pm to 9pm on the 1st Wed of the month. We do not have meetings in Dec, Jan, July or August. We normally have between 18 and 40 people with an interest in diabetes coming along to our meetings.

We have many Diabetes Specialists that come and talk to us, on various aspects of living with diabetes. They are invariably interesting, supportive and very informative!

Our meetings are free to attend and refreshments are available at the end. We also have a wide selection of free information on diabetes available. Many people who have been recently diagnosed with diabetes, find our meetings especially helpful. It is always useful having the opportunity to chat to other people in the same situation as yourself!
