TANGO is a charity based in Haydock that help many individuals and families with specific needs by delivering furniture, household goods and equipment to their door. They have a Family Liaison Team who work in partnership with other agencies (e.g. Social Services and Helena Partnerships) and may be able to provide furniture free of charge, depending on your circumstances.
TANGO also have a charity shop and warehouse full of goods at very reasonable prices.
